Pasqual Verkamp scored the third goal in the 38th minute with a header, further cementing Carl Zeiss Jena's position as the champions. Löder sealed their victory in the 61st minute in front of 4406 witnesses. This success meant Jena finished the cup season with a spotless record, scoring 19 goals and conceding none.
ZFC Meuselwitz, led by the top scorer in the regional league who was Löder (25 goals), failed to recover from the early disadvantage.
