Caesars Palace Online Casino Introduces Mobile Application

Caesars Entertainment, a publicly-traded company listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol CZR, has unveiled their new mobile app for Caesars Palace Online Casino. Customers of legal age in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario, Canada can now access this app, which is associated with some of the most well-known Caesars branded casinos and gaming venues. These include the iconic Las Vegas Strip casino hotel, a location on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, a casino resort in Windsor, Ontario, and a new property in Danville, Virginia. Soon, Harrah's New Orleans will also carry the Caesars name.

Caesars Palace Online Casino offers an array of exclusive Caesars branded games, along with hundreds of popular classic casino games and state-of-the-art online casino games. Some examples include American Roulette, slot games from top providers, Live Dealer Blackjack, Baccarat, video poker, progressive jackpot slots, and more.

The launch of Caesars Palace Online Casino came just a day after Caesars completed upgrades to their William Hill sports betting app in Nevada. This app was transferred to the Liberty platform, similar to what Caesars Sportsbook Nevada did earlier this year.

The Significance of Caesars Palace Online Casino Debut

While Caesars has managed to establish a significant presence in the online sports betting industry, it still lags behind competitors like FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM. However, online casinos present an opportunity for the operator to make substantial strides.

Internet casinos are currently legal in a limited number of states, but more are considering legalizing iGaming as a means of increasing tax revenue. This could be advantageous for operators like Caesars in the long term. Additionally, online casinos generate higher profits and better margins compared to sports betting. As an added bonus, the Caesars Palace Online app has received positive reviews in certain areas.

"Caesars doesn't disappoint in some aspects. We noticed a great selection of content, particularly in live dealer, with a focus on Caesars-themed games. We also appreciated the convenient withdrawals and customization features, allowing users to favorite games and sort by minimum/maximum bet," said Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG).

Another potential advantage for Caesars is that the new online gaming app allows users to earn Caesars Rewards points, which can be used at the operator's 50-plus North American venues. Caesars Rewards members can also convert their Reward Credits to Wyndham Rewards points, enabling them to redeem them for stays at over 50,000 hotels, vacation club resorts, and vacation rentals around the world.

Potential Boost for Caesars in the Second Half

Some analysts anticipate that Caesars Palace Online Casino could provide a boost for the operator in the second half of the year. This may be the case, but there's still room for improvement.

Caesars could potentially see increased online casino GGR in the second half of the year due to increased marketing and a better ability to target valuable customers within their Rewards database. However, the product needs improvements in regards to speed and navigability before it can be aggressively marketed to the broader audience, according to EKG. Additionally, Caesars has other online gaming brands in their portfolio, such as Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, Tropicana Online Casino, Harrah's Online Casino, and WSOP.COM.
