Competitor in the middle section of the race track - BVB star Lubach joins the club.

Following the signings of Caspar Jander from MSV Duisburg and Danilo Soares from VfL Bochum, 1. FC Nuremberg has now made their third new addition. Rafael Lubach (19), a midfield prospect, comes from Borussia Dortmund.

Standing at 1.75 meters tall, the right-footed player is set to join the FCN professional squad as a midfield contender. He can also play in the number six position.

Lubach was the star player for Dortmund's U19 team last season, making 33 appearances in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and UEFA Youth League. He scored two goals and created seven assists in these matches. However, he missed the final of the German Championship against TSG Hoffenheim (1:3) due to a yellow-red card suspension.

In Nuremberg, Lubach will need to adapt swiftly to the rigors of the men's division and the 2. Liga. He aims to follow the footsteps of other talented youngsters who have thrived in the club in recent years, such as Krauß, Brown, Uzun, and Jeltsch.
