Neumünster - Description of the situation - Bus collides with cyclist in crash
A young cyclist, aged 15, was on Plöner Straße's left-hand cycle path, heading towards the city center around 7:45 am. When he tried to cross the road at Ring Straße, he failed to notice an oncoming bus from the city center. Luckily, he and the 50-year-old bus driver managed to stop their respective vehicles, resulting in minimal contact.
Despite this, six of the bus's passengers, aged between 11 and 24 years, received minor to moderate injuries, mostly bruises, from the bus's emergency braking. Paramedics transported everyone to the FEK Neumünster hospital.
A team from the 1st PR Neumünster patrol car documented the incident and started criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm.
