News Update: The company releases a report detailing important information. - Burnley coach reaches deal with Bayern Munich for new position.

Reports suggest that FC Bayern is on the verge of acquiring the services of Vincent Kompany as their new coach. The only step left is getting the 38-year-old Belgian's signature, as per a statement on Saturday by Sky, a popular TV channel. The agreement for transferring Vincent Kompany from his current club FC Burnley is said to include a compensation package of around 10-12 million euros.

Vincent Kompany, a former Manchester City and Hamburger SV professional, is speculated to sign a contract that will keep him with the German record champions until 2027. Earlier, several media outlets had hinted at an imminent agreement between all parties involved. Kompany, who led Burnley to promotion in the Premier League and consequently relegated them this season, started his coaching career at RSC Anderlecht. At Anderlecht, he managed to secure third-place finishes twice with the struggling Belgian record champions.

Following Thomas Tuchel's announcement that he would be leaving at the end of the season, FC Bayern courted several potential coaches. Anti-climaxes ensued when Xabi Alonso from Bayer Leverkusen, national team coach Julian Nagelsmann, Austrian national team coach Ralf Rangnick, former Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner, and even an attempt to retain Tuchel himself all failed. Eventually, it would appear, FC Bayern now has its man.
