He assesses their coaching. - Boxing icon Axel Schulz talks about the Fame Fighters.

Are these celebrities set for a boxing match?

For weeks, the reality TV stars Jessi Accit (24), Jakub Merlan-Jarecki (29), Evi Maria (29), and the rest of the group have been working hard to prepare for their upcoming fight.

Here's how boxing legend Axel Schulz rates their training.

Jessi Accit

Fighter Jessi Accit (24) is getting ready for her match against Lena Schiwiora (27) with a peculiar method: she's doing sit-ups while her trainer uses a foam roller to keep her in motion. Schulz isn't sold on this method. "It's all for show," he says. "I don't think she's going to hit her in the face with that thing." When asked if he's encountered any unusual training techniques before, Schulz replies, "No, not really."

As for Jakub Merlan-Jarecki (29), Schulz appreciates the medicine ball throws and the strong push-ups. But he's not a fan of the stomach punches. "It's definitely not healthy," Schulz says. "It causes the liver to contract." He adds, "It's not impressive under the rhythm he's currently doing it at because he knows it's coming."

Jakub Merlan-Jarecki

Jakub is a repeat offender, having fought Nikola Glumac (28) before.

Babak "Bobby" Chambers (36) uses a "showman" tactic for his training, regularly practicing on Cologne's Domplatte. Schulz's verdict: "That looks great!"

Boxing Lessons before Fame Fights

One thing's for sure: the majority of these fights are already heated before they even begin. Many trash-talking stars want to resolve their feud in the ring. But is anger beneficial?

Babak

Schulz: "Anger is always a poor counselor, as it makes you blind. You need to be rather calm and strategic."

Before Fame Fights on Friday, here's Schulz's last piece of advice: "Keep boxing, boxing, boxing."

You can witness the true level of their training when the trash stars go head-to-head on Friday.
