A storm hits Duisburg... - Boss voices displeasure over referee's call.

In the 43rd minute, Sean Seitz and Marvin Stefaniak scored, giving Aue a lead. However, Alexander Esswein and Ahmet Engin equalized in the 57th and 64th minutes respectively, thanks to a foul penalty.

In the 84th minute, a group of MSV fans invaded the stadium, knocked over an ad board, and started using pyrotechnics. The referee, Assad Nouhoum, immediately sent both teams to the dressing room. The police then used irritant gas to disperse the agitated supporters.

According to Aue's sporting director, Matthias Heidrich on "MagentaSport", the police claimed the game could continue, and the referee agreed. This didn't seem responsible at all towards the players, who had to wait for over an hour, which could negatively impact their health. He felt it was wrong to play under those conditions.

Regardless, the game resumed after this nearly one-hour interruption. The rest of the match proceeded without any goals or disturbances.
