The German Football Association (DFB) penalized Borussia over the misbehavior of their fans in two separate instances, totaling 38,000 euros in fines.
During protests against a potential DFL investor, Gladbach's ultras launched an assortment of objects, primarily chocolaty talcum powder, onto the field, resulting in a lengthy disruption.
This bothersome act was repeated against Darmstadt on February 10, 2024, this time with tennis balls hurled from the stands. In addition, at least eight smoke bombs were set off in the North Curve prior to the match's start.
Once again, it seems Gladbach supporters can't manage to learn their lesson. The club had already paid 234,750 euros to the DFB due to the recklessness of Borussia's fan base in 2023.
