The essence of the matter - Borussia Dortmund takes legal action against Paris Saint-Germain.
The frustration towards Paris St-Germain's actions during the semi-finals is so intense that the Revier club has reported the French champions to Football Supporters Europe.
"FSE" is the fan organization that partners with Uefa and has participants from all 48 Uefa member nations.
The issue at hand is two-fold. Firstly, Dortmund claims that they were given 480 fewer tickets from PSG for the second leg. However, PSG argued before the match that the Paris police had demanded this. Nevertheless, Borussia's investigation in the police department debunked this claim entirely. The police would have actually preferred to have the fans inside the stadium rather than on the streets during the game.
Next, Dortmund also accuses Paris St-Germain of prohibiting fan banners, causing significant disturbance among the Borussia supporters.
Furthermore, Dortmund contends that the PSG chorus leader's instructions, who determines the chants from the curve, were relayed throughout the stadium - even in the away fans' section. This would be unheard of in the German league.
The "FSE" has acknowledged to Borussia that they're planning to mete out repercussions.
