Alkersleben: a town to visit - Blaze in celebration structure: 15,000 Euros worth of destruction
In the Ilm district of Alkersleben, a party hut went up in flames. On a Wednesday morning, this fire resulted in approximately 15,000 euros of property damage, as reported by law enforcement.
The affected structure was an outbuilding on a private estate. The 63-year-old owner, who attempted to put out the flames himself, sustained minor injuries. He was sent to a medical facility for treatment.
The source of the fire's ignition remains unclear. The police are not ruling out the possibility of a technical malfunction. The investigation continues.
