An industrial blast led to a fire close to Mönchengladbach's airport. On Tuesday, firefighters reported that all workers involved had safely evacuated the building. The fire department promptly extinguished the flames and successfully stopped them from engulfing other areas of the hall. The incident was determined to be a deflagration. This was a result of the dismantling process for a machine that still had flammable residue, untouched and uncleaned.
