J.Lo's marriage reportedly on the edge of dissolution - Ben's wedding ring has been removed from his finger.
In the midst of all the speculations about their relationship, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's wedding rings have always been a small symbol of hope, shining in every photo they took together. They've made it clear that they're not willing to give up on their love.
However, this week, things appear to have taken a different turn. Yesterday, Ben was seen without his wedding ring, just 24 hours after he and J.Lo were spotted together for the first time in over a month. They hadn't been in the public eye for 47 days!
In a photo taken while Ben was sitting in his car, his mouth was hanging down, and he looked quite tired. His left hand, which was raised onto the sun visor, was bare - no sign of his wedding ring. Could it be that the icy reunion with Jennifer on Thursday took a toll on him and led to his decision to remove the symbol of their love?
Prior to this, when the couple attended a school play for Ben's son Fin (15), things didn't seem too friendly. There were no smiles, no touching, and no signs of emotional connection. Given their history, one would know this wasn't how a couple who wanted to stay together would act.
This appearance was the perfect opportunity for them to show the world that their love hasn't wavered. Instead, they only had brief chats and exchanged glances that seemed to convey other messages.
After the visit to Fin's performance, both Ben and Jennifer parted ways. He went to his single pad in Brentwood, while she took Emme (16) to their family estate in Beverly Hills.
Interestingly, Jennifer doesn't seem to be fazed by the situation. She was seen looking genuinely happy on her way to her dance training on Friday, with no hint of a bad mood or heartache.
It's unclear whether Jennifer had noticed Ben's ringless status, but according to TMZ, her ring was still on her finger. Whether this will continue to be the case remains to be seen after Ben's recent shoots without his ring.
