A crossbow killing in the sadomasochistic community - Beheaded for removing her collar
The trial for the alleged murder of a paramedic from Plauen, located in the Vogtland region, began in the Zwickau district court. The defendant, Mike H., aged 46 and currently in custody, has been accused of killing his wife, Jessica H., aged 37. Jessica H. also served as a paramedic, and the couple had a tumultuous marriage marked by BDSM influence.
According to the prosecution, Mike H. became extremely jealous when his wife decided to separate from him and start a new relationship. He viewed his wife as his property, not allowing her to belong to anyone else. The prosecutor, Barbara Gremm (61), explained that the victim removed her necklace as a symbol of her role as a slave, seeking to lead a life of her own, which he considered to be an unacceptable betrayal.
Tragic incident after separation
Jessica H. had separated from her husband and moved out three weeks before the alleged incident. On July 29, 2023, the victim returned to their home to take care of the cats. She was unaware that her ex-husband was at the residence.
Violent act involving a crossbow and a knife
It is alleged that Mike H. shot his ex-wife in the head with a crossbow before stabbing her in the neck with a 9.5 cm blade and 2.3 cm wide kitchen knife. First, he stabbed her from the left side, then from the front, and finally from the right, resulting in the knife getting stuck.
Upon arrival at the crime scene, the emergency service personnel were overwhelmed, as the victim was a colleague. A crossbow, a bolt, and another knife surrounded by blood were found at the crime scene.
Hiding from authorities
Despite the tragedy, the police narrowed down their search for the suspect. They discovered Mike H. lurking outside the house, hiding between the hedge and the wall. He had traces of blood on his clothes, prompting the officers to apprehend him.
Mike H. refused to comment on the allegations, remaining silent throughout the course of the trial.
