The pooch plunged 70 meters down. - Beagle Tete cried out for assistance over a duration of 28 hours.
A dog named Tete made a sudden escape during a walk in the woods near Neckarsteinach, Hesse, on Whit Monday. His owner, Demian Rodriguez, became concerned and began searching for him. Unfortunately, Tete had already fallen down a 70-meter embankment and was stranded on a small platform.
The concerned fire department was notified and eventually found Tete the following day. They deployed their rescue team to assist in his extraction. Braving through dense foliage and slippery boulders, the rescuers finally reached the pooch after spending 28 hours in the forest. Using a small stretcher, they tied Tete to one of the men's safety harness and started ascending with him.
Rodriguez expressed his gratitude to the fire department, who were able to save the dog with their impressive rescue techniques. Despite the hope and anxiety they felt, the owner revealed that Tete had never been alone in the forest before, adding a layer of concern to the ordeal.
Tete had a few scratches and a leg injury. He received medical care from a veterinarian and was allowed to go home for recovery.
