Storm alert and memorial for those who have passed away - Bayer's Strategy for Champions Day

Long ago, Leverkusen was the first runner-up. Tomorrow at 3:30 pm (in the live ticker), they will become champions in the club's history for the very first time.

Here is how Bayer plans to celebrate this grand event:

► Remembering the fallen: this majestic moment will make the champion's celebration even more moving - and induce numerous goosebumps and tearful eyes. At the 19th minute of gameplay, Bayer will honor all the fans who will no longer have the chance to witness the first title. The Bayer coach Xabi Alonso (42) on this emotional event: "I think it's crucial. They deserve to be in our thoughts. This trophy belongs not only to us but to everyone who has ever been part of the team or a supporter at one time. It will be an emotional moment."

The Werksklub mentions the campaign under the motto, "Cheer with us in your heart!": "After 19 minutes of play, all fans in the BayArena are encouraged to pause for a moment and reflect on those who could not celebrate these unique moments with us, since they are gone."

► Crowd warning: the Werkself encourage fans to remain in the stands after the final whistle and not invade the field like they did against Bremen (5:0). Alonso: "It will be crucial that we can celebrate with the trophy on the pitch. I hope everyone respects this."

Leverkusen clinched the championship in mid-April with a 5-0 win over Bremen, and the fans celebrated on the pitch. Bayer hopes that there won't be another pitch storm on Saturday

Midfielder Robert Andrich (29) addresses the fans directly, pleading: "Don't venture onto the field. We wish to share this time with our families, safety first. We're immensely proud of what we've accomplished this season and want to share it with you. But please, stay in the stands."

► First final: first encounters against Augsburg, then in Dublin, then in Berlin. The home game is the first of three decisive games for master coach Xabi Alonso (42). Bayer has the chance to remain unbeaten in fifty-one competitive matches and hence become the first club to complete a Bundesliga season without a single loss.

Alonso says, "Remaining unbeaten could be groundbreaking. I believe this match represents our first final."
