Top European Football Tournament - Bayern Munich doesn't anticipate a decision from Rangnick ahead of the second match.

Leaders of FC Bayern believe negotiations with possible new coach Ralf Rangnick will take a few more days. Max Eberl, sports director, shared this update late last night and mentioned they are working quietly on deciding a successor for Thomas Tuchel. He added, "We'll reveal it at some point." When inquired about a potential announcement before the semi-final clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday next week, Eberl said, "I don't think it will be before the second leg of the semi-finals." Eberl stressed on the importance of having a clear front in internal planning.

Waiting for Rangnick's approval

Rangnick remains Bayern's top choice to take over from Tuchel. Herbert Hainer, club president, said the club is "in good discussions with Ralf," but they still have to wait for his final decision. Hainer believes the answer will come soon, stating, "I don't think it'll be much longer before we figure out the direction."

Nervous wait for second leg

Bayern drew 2-2 with Real Madrid in the first leg and now requires a win (either in the 90 minutes, extra time, or penalty shootouts) to advance to the finals. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen didn't express any preference on when a deal with Rangnick might be confirmed. In response to being asked if an agreement would be beneficial before or after the second leg, he said: "After all this talk in the past couple of weeks, it doesn't matter anymore."

Alonso and Nagelsmann no longer in the picture

After ruling out Xabi Alonso (Leverkusen) and Julian Nagelsmann (German national team coach), Rangnick, who is 65, appears to be the top choice for the Munich post. Dreesen confirmed that the club has extended an offer to Rangnick, who is considering it. Bild's report states that Rangnick has expressed his approvals to those at Säbener Straße. More discussions are scheduled for tomorrow.
