What makes THIS an issue? - Bavaria falls to third position.

Coach Thomas Tuchel (50) bade farewell to Bayern with a 4-2 loss at Hoffenheim in the dying moments, thanks to a hat-trick from Kramaric!

Bayern scored twice in just the first five minutes: Mathys Tel struck from a Müller assist and later assisted Alphonso Davies. The last time Bayern took such an early 2-0 lead was more than four years ago.

Two minutes later, Hoffenheim's Maximilian Beier equalized. This was his 16th goal of the season, making him a strong contender for the Nagelsmann nomination.

Concerns arose for another Euro player when Aleksandar Pavlovic (20) got injured after only 34 minutes, having previously complained about his ankle. He was substituted by Lovro Zvonarek.

Kramaric's treble in the second half then snatched the runners-up spot from Bayern! The Bavarians will also miss out on the Super Cup final (champions vs cup winners/runners-up) and the first trophy of the season.

Conversely, Hoffenheim are ecstatic: The home side retain their 7th place and qualify for international business.

Instead of Bayern, VfB Stuttgart celebrated their runners-up finish with a resounding 4-0 victory over Gladbach! Guirassy bagged a brace.

Also due to Hamburger SV's 2-1 loss to Union Berlin in Streich's farewell match, Heidenheim in 8th place (4-1 against Cologne) can now harbour ambitions of European football – provided Leverkusen win against Kaiserslautern in the cup final.

Frankfurt also secured European qualification in 6th place after a 2-2 draw against Leipzig (the fourth-placed team). If Dortmund win the Champions League, Eintracht could even make it to the top flight.

BVB charmingly send off Reus!

In his last Bundesliga appearance in black and yellow, Marco Reus offered Maatsen a 1-0 lead and then Beautifully converted an exquisite free-kick to make it 2-0. This marked his 120th Bundesliga goal for Dortmund! Brandt and Malen sealed the final score.
