As one of 41 representatives from Florida, Barron is experiencing his first foray into the political world. He was only ten when his dad became the President of the US and has been largely hidden from the political spotlight.
His election, along with his half-brothers Eric Trump (40) and Donald Trump Jr. (46), and his half-sister Tiffany Trump (30, known as Tiffany Boulos), signifies the recent takeover of the Republican Party by the Trump family.
His half-sibling Ivanka Trump (42) was not part of the delegates list.
The Florida delegates will be among the thousands of delegates from each state who will converge at the Republican National Convention (from July 15-18) to select the party's presidential nominee.
"We are fortunate to have a fantastic team of grassroots activists, elected officials, and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation for the 2024 Republican National Convention," said Florida Republican leader Evan Power.
Eric Trump, who is the vice chairman of the Trump Organization and played an important role in his father's successful 2020 re-election campaign, will lead the Florida delegation. His father-in-law, Eric Trump, and wife of Eric Trump, Lara Trump (41), was appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee in March.
However, times are a bit tricky! On May 17, Barron will first complete his schooling at Oxbridge Academy, a private high school situated near his father's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
The former president has been given the go-ahead by the judge overseeing his hush-money trial in New York to attend the ceremony after voicing concerns that his participation might not be possible due to the ongoing legal proceedings.
