Deep-Seated Resolve - Authorities conduct search for possible doping suppliers.
On Tuesday, three men were taken into custody following a crackdown against individuals suspected of dealing in performance-enhancing drugs. Authorities searched nine properties in Frankfurt, Dreieich, and Langen (all within Offenbach's jurisdiction), along with twelve other homes across Germany. The operation, led by customs and the Frankfurt public prosecutor's office, resulted in the confiscation of over 10,000 ampoules, 6,000 tablets, and 1,200 syringes containing illegal substances. Additionally, they discovered two firearms, ammunition, and a kilogram of black powder.
The probe begun with an intercepted package from Spain containing banned substances back in 2022. More of these illicit items were later discovered at the intended recipient's residence. Arrest warrants had been secured for three men aged 27, 36, and 38, who stand accused of trafficking in significant quantities of performance-enhancing drugs. These individuals were scheduled to appear before a judge who would determine if they would remain in custody.
