Two individuals were assaulted in Krefeld. - Authorities are on the hunt for the individuals involved in a knife-related incident, donning sweatpants.
Yesterday afternoon, the police executed an operation in Krefeld's Kaiser-Wilhelm Park (NRW). There, two severely injured individuals, a 22-year-old German and an 18-year-old Syrian, were found with deep cuts.
Subsequently, the police caught two possible culprits, a 16-year-old Syrian and a 19-year-old Iraqi, after a short pursuit, thanks to the helpful information provided by bystanders. The exact circumstances leading to the clash remain unclear, nor is it certain if the injured were romantically involved.
Allegedly, these two males were assaulted by a larger group. Presently, a homicide unit is taking over the case and looking for the remaining assailants.
The suspected assailants were seen sporting athletic clothing and are believed to be between the ages of 17 and 22, with southern features.
