A 4:0 event opposing Duisburg - Aue expresses joy over the Dresden victory.
The substitute goalkeeper Daniel Mesenhöler makes his debut in the Dresden team, witnessing a striking attack in the first half of the game.
Just as in the best days, Dynamo Dresden fiercely attacks against Duisburg, who have been relegated for a long time, displaying magnificent attacking soccer and almost effectively securing victory from the start.
14th minute: Paul Will converts a Jonathan Meier free-kick for a 1-0 lead.
15th minute: Jakob Lemmer confidently earns a 2-0 lead with a fantastic assist from Jonas Oehmichen.
38th minute: Stefan Kutschke nets a third goal for a 3-0 lead, the result of Jakob Lemmer's phenomenal solo run. It is Kutschke's 14th goal of the campaign.
Regrettably, he has to leave soon due to the repercussions of a collision with Duisburg goalie Braune.
The fans give Kutschke a rousing farewell, chanting "Kutschke" and displaying a banner, "Preserve identity - renew Kutschke." They wish for him to stay on the field for the upcoming season.
During halftime, the managing director David Fischer comments on Magenta Sport, "The passionate feeling is here now. It's reminiscent of good times. When you look at the other match results, it's a bit nostalgic."
At that moment, Regensburg found themselves behind 0-1 against Saarbrücken, meaning that SGD is just a single point away from the relegation zone. Incredibly disappointing.
However, they wasted no time to show their abilities once more. In the second half, their performance improved impressively, with chances for multiple goals.
Lemmer scores twice
And the scoreboard kept ticking: Lemmer doubled up with his second goal, making it 4-0 and his seventh goal in the season. The game ended this way, despite opportunities for more goals.
Grateful fans in the K-Block marked the score with black and yellow vapor pots. They chanted, "The third division bites. Who cares, oh SGD."
Despite the enthusiasm, it did not come for free. The DFB imposes a fine on them again.
Interestingly, the opposing team from the "Mining Area" is also thrilled about the win.
Owing to Dynamo Dresden's qualification for the DFB Cup, Erzgebirge Aue also generates a spot in the final of the Saxony Cup.
Next Saturday's game in Dresden will be "only" about honor - and a consoling closure to the season.
With over 31,000 (!) spectators in the stands, the victory at the season finale has pleased spectators and even their adversaries.
