At last Friday's evening premiere of the French animated drama "La Plus Précieuse des marchandises" during the Cannes Film Festival, Helen Mirren (78) and Andie MacDowell (66) wowed the crowd, capturing everyone's attention. These two acting icons were all smiles and hugs as they walked the red carpet, looking gorgeous in their stunning evening gowns.
Gorgeous in hues of purple and gold
Helen Mirren took center stage in a vibrant purple dress, a sight to behold. Fitted and off-the-shoulder, this number featured a stunning long train. To complete her look, she donned a stunning diamond and silver necklace along with matching earrings.
Andie MacDowell too, dressed to impress in a gold sequined floor-length gown. She accentuated her look with a flared-sleeved bolero, its long fabric panels flowing all the way to the ground. Both stars flaunted their long silvery locks, a hue they've remained faithful to for years now, and radiated confidence.
"La Plus Précieuse des marchandises" is an adaptation of Jean-Claude Grumberg's 2019 novel of the same name. The movie is slated for release in German cinemas on February 6, 2025.
