To reduce risks, it's advised that 25-year-olds, 35-year-olds, and 50-year-olds get two values checked through a voucher system: their blood pressure and the risk factor of diabetes. These vouchers can be exchanged at pharmacies or with a doctor. If the results are concerning, patients can receive treatment from their primary care physician. Insurance companies should send out invitations for these checkups.
