It is said that a man (27) was fatally shot in the head. - Arrest warrant filed for suspected killer in sauna woodland area
On the 25th of November, a man (27) who was executed was discovered in a wooded area in Kaltenkirchen, Schleswig-Holstein - his name was Reols H. A 17-year-old individual later confessed to the police, accompanied by his lawyer, saying, "I killed a man, he's lying next to the 'Holsten Therme'."
At the location where the body was found, Qerim D. refused to show the Crime Investigation Department where the victim's body was positioned. A sniffer dog then discovered the lifeless 27-year-old. No DNA traces were present on D.
However, Senior Public Prosecutor Peter Müller-Rakow derived from the current facts, "This confession has been confirmed by extensive investigations, which relate to the crime scene and evidence carriers." D. has been charged with manslaughter. He allegedly murdered an individual aged 27 with a bullet from a handgun at a shisha bar on the 21st or 22nd of November, according to Müller-Rakow.
Confusion regarding D.'s age
Nonetheless, the prosecution has severe doubts about D.'s age. Senior Public Prosecutor Müller-Rakow states, "Based on a commissioned expert opinion, he should at least be 18 years old."
In organized crime, younger and potentially innocent individuals are sometimes sent forward since the sentence is considerably lower for them.
Other Suspects Under Investigation
Investigators managed to identify the first suspect, Ferhat K., via the foil material with which the perpetrators wrapped the corpse and disposed it in the sauna forest. K. had bought this material using his Visa card at a DIY store.
After examining the store's sales records, K.'s name arose, which the investigators already knew from intercepted conversations.
In a nearby "Douglas" branch, K. and his accomplice C. each made purchases utilizing personalized advantage cards (bonus cards for discounts). Eyewitnesses confirmed to the police that the two traveled together, resulting in the acquirement of the bonus card friend's identity.
Senior Public Prosecutor Müller-Rakow: "In connection with this crime, investigations are ongoing against other suspects."
The focus of these investigations is identifying the manner, form, and personal composition in which the suspects were involved in committing the crime.
