A group of people shouted hostile phrases towards Israel. These words reached a wider audience through the platform of TikTok.
Officers arrived with multiple squads and insisted that the demonstrators disperse on several occasions, even using the threat of force.
Later at night, the disturbance in Sonnenallee subsided and tranquility was restored. The police maintained the perimeter around Reuterkiez for at least one more hour following the event.
The authorities are currently exploring possible charges under the Assembly Act.
