In the past, disagreements arose - Announcing the nomination of Kroos.
In the near future, the German national football team's squad for the European Championship will be revealed. During this announcement, Toni Kroos (age 34) will join ZDF interviewer Nils Kaben (age 56) in short nomination videos.
Nils Kaben shared, "For the European Championship squad announcement in Berlin on Thursday, the DFB will be producing a short film for each player. They asked me to present Toni Kroos, which was a surprise to everyone, including myself. I'll make a lighthearted comment before presenting him on camera, and everyone will chuckle."
Previously, during Real Madrid's triumphant 1-0 victory over Liverpool in the 2022 Champions League final, Toni Kroos, a playmaker, criticized Nils Kaben for his line of questioning. He believed that Kaben asked him inappropriate questions.
Kaben recounted the encounter, "The outcome wasn't certain with how the game was going, so I wanted to know: 'Did it catch you off guard that Real Madrid faced difficulty?' Kroos responded, 'You had 90 minutes to think of intelligent questions. Instead, you pose two crappy ones like that.'" Kroos abruptly terminated the interview. Upon passing the ZDF camera after the break, he scolded Kaben, "Very poor. Really, really terrible."
However, both have since returned to a professional relationship, allowing for this amusing video to be created. It's part of a series of interesting nominations revealed on different platforms. Numerous European Championship contenders have been selectively disclosed in the build-up to the final announcement. Kroos engaged in one of these announcements with his brother in their podcast "Einfach mal luppen" on Wednesday morning, engaging with Robert Andrich (age 29) from Leverkusen.
The process began with central defender Nico Schlotterbeck (age 24). This revelation was made by the "Tagesschau". Then, the DFB divulged Jonathan Tah (age 28) along with goalkeeper and influencer Rashid Hamid on social media.
