Manuel Neuer is set to play in his 500th Bundesliga match today. Out of these, he has played 344 games for Bayern and 156 games for Schalke. Neuer is the fourth goalkeeper to reach this milestone in Bundesliga history, following Oliver Kahn (557), Eike Immel (534), and Uli Stein (512).
In the audience, there's a very special support for this special occasion. Manuel's wife Anika and their baby Luca will be present in the Allianz Arena today, especially on Mother's Day. Luca was born on March 14.
Manuel has only posted one image so far, a picture of himself with a baby carriage. But just in time for Mother's Day, we now have the first photos of Anika with Luca. And just like his father, the little boy is already wearing Adidas shoes.
