Second division of the German Bundesliga football league - Analyst Mattuschka anticipates a tie in the Hamburg derby.

Predictive analyst Torsten Mattuschka is uncertain who will come out victorious in the upcoming city derby between Hamburg SV and FC St. Pauli. "I forecasted a score of 2-2 a while ago," the 43-year-old shared at a press engagement in the Hanseatic city earlier this week. He anticipates FC St. Pauli's promotion, while HSV will be in their seventh second-league season.

Mattuschka, who participated in a few derbies while an Union Berlin player, emphasized the explosive nature of the upcoming match at the Volksparkstadion on Friday evening. He's not astonished by FC St. Pauli's impressive performance: "I had my eyes on St. Pauli before the current season." The second half of their previous season under coach Fabian Hürzeler was "really steady".

If HSV dreamed of being relegated, they would need to win their remaining three matches. However, due to the team's failure to secure back-to-back wins since the break, a difficult feat awaits them. Tauntingly, Mattuschka highly regards the new HSV coach Steffen Baumgart: "He fits in well at HSV." He advocates for offering Baumgart a new contract even if the club fails to gain promotion.

When addressing critical players for the derby, Mattuschka identified: "Marcel Hartel and Robert Glatzel." St. Pauli's Hartel is consistently in exceptional condition against their city rivals, and "Glatzel is the most productive striker in the league".
