Two individuals sustain harm in Saarbrücken. - An unidentified individual is reportedly stabbed by a knife.
At approximately 4 pm, police received a call about a disturbing incident. The caller reported that a knife was embedded in someone's neck in Saarbrücken's Gaußstraße. Soon, multiple patrol cars arrived on the scene.
Upon arrival, a 44-year-old man with a knife wound was discovered inside a one-bedroom apartment, while a 49-year-old man present in the apartment had cuts on his back, hand, and a wound on the back of his head, as well as bruises on his body.
Apparently, an unidentified man rang the doorbell of the apartment. When the owner answered the door, the unknown assailant launched an attack on the two men with a knife. The attacker allegedly demanded the owner's wallet.
A physical altercation ensued. The knife-wielding man then escaped without stealing anything.
A bloody knife was found and confiscated by the authorities.
The officers' preliminary theory: the possible assailant could be linked to the drug scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
