Court for Global Criminal Offenses - Amal Clooney aided in creating an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.

Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), shared the news on Monday: He's filed requests for arrest warrants against multiple Hamas leaders and, at the same time, against Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister. Working as part of an international group of experts, she evaluated the alleged war crimes and shared her findings on her organization's website, the "Clooney Foundation for Justice." She collaborated with her Oscar-winning husband to establish this group.

Her team suggested pursuing criminal charges against Hamas terrorists Yahya Sinwar (61), Mohammed Deif (58), and Ismail Haniyeh (62) for "war crimes and crimes against humanity, including hostage-taking, murder, and violent sexual crimes." They're implicated in a horrendous attack on October 7, which led to the deaths of over 1200 people and the abduction of 240 hostages.

However, another part of the recommendations targeted Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (65) for "crimes against humanity." They were accused of "starvation as a method of warfare, murder, persecution, and extermination."

Consequently, the prosecutors followed these guidelines.

The pursuit of an arrest warrant against Netanyahu sparked uproar internationally: US President Joe Biden (81) criticized the ICC's actions against Israel, calling it "outrageous."

Clooney, a well-known human rights lawyer of Lebanese-British descent, who also counsels "Wikileaks" founder Julian Assange (52), previously denounced war crimes in Russia's aggression against Ukraine. She's kept relatively quiet regarding the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, attracting attention from the anti-Israel protest movement.

Now, she declared on her website, "I support the historic move by the prosecutors of the International Criminal Court to bring justice to the victims of atrocities in Israel and Palestine!"
