Unbeatable Bayer Leverkusen - Alonso rejoices as he turns 50 years old.

Xabi Alonso's unblemished streak continues as Leverkusen wins 5-0 in Bochum, marking their 50th consecutive game without a loss. Celtic Glasgow (62 games unbeaten) and Belgian team Saint-Gilloise (60 games) are the only other clubs to achieve this in European soccer.

Leverkusen's chase towards immaculate records continues as they aim to complete a perfect Bundesliga season if they remain unbeaten in their next league match on Saturday.

Xabi Alonso's upcoming milestones:

May 18: Championship trophy presentation.

May 22: Europa League final versus Bergamo.

May 25: DFB Cup final against Lautern.

Alonso fields three players from the Europa League semi-final against AS Roma (2-2): Xhaka, Tah, and Tapsoba. Star player Wirtz is sidelined with a thigh injury. Arthur, Tella, Boniface, and Schick receive starting spots.

The 41st minute brings the first goal for Leverkusen: an Arthur cross from a corner finds Schick, who scores a goal for the 25th time this season, breaking a league record. Boniface (45'+2), Adli (76'), Stanisic (86'), and Grimaldo (90'+3) contribute additional goals, making it 5-0.

Bochum's downfall is attributed to Passlack's red card for fouling Tella (14'). With the need for at least a point to secure safety, Bochum trembled until the final whistle.
