Allegedly Assaulting a Naked Man in Las Vegas, a Cop Gets Punched, Then Stolen Car Crashes: VIDEO

A man without clothes on is accused of having a brawl with a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officer on Tuesday evening and then making a runaway with the policeman's vehicle.

The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan from Las Vegas, ultimately smashed into another ride following a fast-paced chase through busy streets, leaving injuries for him, the other driver, and her passenger.

The chaotic scenario started about 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive in the Nevada town of Enterprise.

Authorities received a call informing them of a naked individual on the street. The first responder came across the unclothed individual and tried to approach him. Soon after, a physical altercation ensued between the man and the police officer.

The officer connected with the ground, allowing Cabulisan to sneak into the driver's seat of the police car. Before the officer could prevent him, Cabulisan drove away.

He sped his way up Rainbow Boulevard. The pursuing officer instantaneously informed headquarters that their vehicle had been hijacked.

Several LVMPD officers joined the trail, giving chase to the marked police automobile during a pursuit that surpassed five miles, according to Las Vegas TV station KLAS.

Serious Injuries

Cabulisan crossed a road into oncoming traffic and crashed his way through a red light at Hacienda Avenue into a Ford Explorer driven by a regular citizen.

The two people in the SUV, a 34-year-old female driver and a 43-year-old male passenger, were severely injured in the Wednesday morning crash, police stated. They were transported to University Medical Center for urgent care.

The conditions of the victims were not yet available on the same day. The first officer on the scene sustained only minor injuries.

Cabulisan endured wounds as well and was also taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

Struggle Caught on Video

It seemed that the suspect had been booked at the Clark County Detention Center on the same day, as per online jail records. Authorities slapped him with charges covering robbery, disobeying lawful orders of a police officer, endangering people and property, and physical harm to a protected person, based on details from KLAS.

Cabulisan must appear in court on Thursday.

Originally, Cabulisan was said to be "possibly experiencing a mental health crisis," according to reports on Las Vegas TV station KTNV, based on police accounts.
