Alleged PokerTribes.com cheater charged with murder conspiracy

A notorious scammer who tried to sell online poker to two Oklahoma tribes has been charged with murder-for-hire in Nevada.

Ferydorne "Prince Fred" Halilion, who often lied about being an Arabian prince, was accused of paying his bodyguard Michael Sherwood $20,000 to kill documentary filmmaker Juan Es division.

Esko is making a movie about Khalilian, which he believes will reflect negatively on him, not without reason. Rather than carry out the act, Sherwood told Esko about the plot in March 2023 and the two agreed to fake the murder.

Esco will undoubtedly have the best moment in the upcoming documentary, as he poses for photos pretending to be dead while fake blood flows from his head.

He then contacted the FBI, who advised him to keep a low profile. Meanwhile, agents provided Sherwood with a wire and recorded Khalilian discussing the assassination attempt.

Witness Manipulation

In June, Prince Fred was in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts in Las Vegas when the FBI arrived and arrested him. He was initially charged in California, but the case was dismissed for lack of legal merit because Khalilian happened to be in France when he allegedly ordered the attack.

The case was reopened in Nevada this week because Sherwood was present when Khalilian answered the call. This time, federal prosecutors added witness tampering charges because Khalilian allegedly tried to bribe Sherwood with $400,000 to change his testimony. Instead, Sherwood told the FBI.

PokerTribes.com Crash

In 2012, Khalilian partnered with the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma (CATO) on a project called PokerTribes.com. The tribe's plan is to be the first to offer real money online poker to players on sovereign tribal lands outside of the United States.

The Tribe paid Khalilian $9.4 million to provide online poker software. But all it got was a non-functioning Internet gambling site, according to later court documents.

Incredibly, Khalilian then teamed up with another tribe in Oklahoma (the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma) on a similar project, this time called PokerTribe.com (note no " s"). The state of Iowa also poured millions of dollars into the program and achieved similar results.

square occupation

In 2004, Khalilian and Paris Hilton opened Club Paris, a nightclub in Orlando. The adventure was short-lived, but Khalilian remained active in the nightclub business in Florida. During this time, he was accused of rape and investigated for three separate sexual assaults. He had told police he could not be charged because he had diplomatic immunity. He was also accused of punching a cocktail waitress in the face.

In 2011, the FTC found that Khalilian was selling worthless car warranty extensions by "bombarding consumers with prerecorded robocalls" and fined him $4.2 million and banned him from the telemarketing industry. .

In 2017, Khalilian was named chief operating officer of audio accessories company Monster Inc. He was fired a year later amid accusations of a failed hostile takeover, death threats and corruption.

Monster was forced to file a temporary restraining order against him with the California Supreme Court "to protect numerous Monster employees from mutilation, death and family threats."
