Agua Caliente Casino wins naming rights to Palm Springs lobby
Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs, California, has entered into a historic marketing partnership with Palm Springs International Airport.
Agua Caliente Casino, the gaming and hospitality company of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, has become the first company in the aviation industry to acquire naming rights for a commercial airport terminal. Through this branding agreement, Palm Springs International Airport will rename its Regional Jet Concourse (commonly known as the RJ Concourse) to the Agua Caliente Concourse. "This incredible partnership with Palm Springs International Airport allows us to make a better first impression and tell travelers more about Agua as they enter the airport," Agua said Caliente Casino Chief Operating Officer Saverio Scheri III.
Palm Springs International Airport is located on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation but is owned and operated by the City of Palm Springs.
“Our team is working hard every day to transform Palm Springs International Airport into an innovative, industry-leading facility,” added Harry Barrett, general manager of the facility. “This announcement is just one of many ‘firsts’ that PSP aims to achieve.”
