Accused poker cheat denies all charges
Ye Chen, also known as Tony Mars, denies all accusations that he defrauded $3 million in a private poker game in Southern California. Poker pros Nikhil “Nik Airball” Arcot and Wesley “Wes Side” Fei made the accusations on X/Twitter this weekend.
According to "Hustler Casino Live" regulars, about a year ago, Shen brought a deck of magic cards to a private entertainment game in Yorba Linda, California. Shen's cards are said to allow him to see through the cards, presumably using special contact lenses.
"I am writing this statement to clear up some false accusations that have damaged my personal reputation," Shen wrote in a statement to PokerNews. "I've won many times and lost many times in my poker career, but I've never cheated in a game and always paid the price when I lost."
Clarify differences
"After one game, we discovered a cheating deck," Fei told PokerNews, adding that he believed Shen and two of his colleagues had the deck with them. "This deck is a really good cheat deck that you can't find. But we go into a very dark room and use a blue light, and then you can see the numbers on the back of the deck."
In a statement to PokerNews, Shen wrote: "I never go anywhere without any cards." To back up his statement, he wrote: "Since we are playing in Yorba, there is no need for me to bring any cards." ” I did it because there are several decks in the game. "
Shen continued: "When I came to the tournament, there were already 6-7 people at the table. So it was impossible for me to change cards or take cards with me because everyone was there."

More specifically, Shen claimed that the real cheater contacted him three weeks after the competition.
One of the returning players confessed to me on the phone and said he was sorry that all the players blamed me. " Shen wrote. "He then told me that he changed the cards because he had lost too much recently. "
Shen said that the liar’s name was Sun. After receiving the confession, he said: "I went directly to the homeowner and explained everything to him." Shen added, "Besides me, there are two other people who can confirm this."
Shen was hostile to his accusations, adding that he believed Fei was accusing him because he was "penniless, desperate and trying not to repay the money he owed me."
