Thankfully, the area was unoccupied - A truck delivers 250 beer crates along a highway.
Fragments on the roadway, cans beside the ditch. A vehicle unloaded its cargo on Sunday morning along the B 85 route from Teichröda to Rudolstadt (Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district, Thüringen**).
As per the law enforcers, the load reportedly broke free during a bend to the left. The authority attributes the mishap to "fatigue of the steering rod of the panel."
Upon its departure, the crates tumbled and dropped from the truck. Fire department and road maintenance crews could only clear the accident area.
Per the police's initial estimation, around 250 crates of the Apoldaer brand were involved. The vast majority of the phony ones shattered during their descent.
The silver lining: The barrels fortunately were unoccupied and didn't get flung into the opposite lane. No one got hurt.
