The upcoming scheduled departure - A professional from Dresden switches to a rival team.
Kraulich had been at relegation-risk SV Meppen for a measly year before transferring to Dresden where he stood out with outstanding displays in the first part of the season. His defensive tactics impressed so much that he topped the league's defensive statistics.
Injuries Take a Toll
Bad luck struck him, though. He dealt with a series of mysterious muscular injuries during the second half of the season. He played only twice more, each time for 90 minutes - in a 1:2 loss against Ingolstadt and a 7:2 victory over Lübeck.
Kraulich's strong build-up play as a left-footed center-back and his impressive heading ability were the key factors that landed him a new club rapidly.
His exit, however, might not have been smooth. After a single year, he had to leave all over again - and guess who his new opponents would be? Yep, Dynamo Dresden.
