LKA examines case. - A person, aged 47, was struck by a police car in Frankfurt.

A 47-year-old man got severely hurt!

One day, around 9:00 in the morning, a patrol car from Frankfurt police was patrolling along Schaumainkau Street in Sachsenhausen. Suddenly, an accident took place near Liebighaus involving the pedestrian. This man got hit bad.

The unfortunate victim had to deal with serious injuries from the accident. The police officers rushed to help him by giving first aid. Paramedics later came and took him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

However, the details surrounding the incident and its cause are currently under investigation. A police spokesperson wouldn't confirm if the patrol car had its lights on or not.

To help them out, a drone was deployed to assist with the accident investigation. Just like any other case requiring a thorough investigation, this one is being handled by the Hesse State Office of Criminal Investigation.
