Incident in Hanau - A man plummets a distance of six meters from a balcony.
On Tuesday, an urgent call to the police in Hanau resulted in a disturbing incident - two balconies had detached from the front of an apartment building at Josefstraße. The caller was hesitant but feared that a neighbor might've been trapped under the wreckage. Authorities, along with paramedics, promptly hurried to the scene.
Upon their arrival in Josefstraße, the emergency squad found a 44-year-old man buried under the debris. Remarkably, the occupant responded to their efforts. The police noted that he appeared to have sustained minor injuries externally yet needed medical evaluation.
The victim informed officers that he had been on his balcony, located on the second floor, when it unexpectedly detached from its foundation. The balcony on the same floor shattered completely.
The precise reason behind this accident remains uncertain. The law enforcement is currently conducting an investigation.
