Someone noticed strangers lurking in the Pfingstanger and Körnerstraße area at around 3:30 am and told the police. Officers there swiftly sent patrol cars from their Hildesheim station to check it out. They spoke to two individuals nearby and noted down their information.
An examination of the area uncovered damage to twelve cars parked along Körnerstraße, Schillstraße, and Soltaustraße. Investigations are now underway to determine if these two Hildesheim citizens were involved in these incidents or if more people were involved.
Another incident occurred at approximately 4:10 am. This time the police received a report of damaged vehicles around Tilsiter Straße. The cars there showed scratches on their paintwork and smashed windscreens. However, no suspicious individuals were found at the scene.
