No chance of reaching the final stage. - A German poker team falls short of winning the championship.
During the third installment of the Triton High Roller Series, a prestigious group of German poker players went head-to-head for the title. Unfortunately, none of them managed to take home the trophy.
Holz exited the tournament in 14th place, earning himself a nice €63,000. Not far behind, Ensan ended up in tenth place, missing out on the final table by a whisker. Then there were Sturm and Hissou, both Germans who still held hopes for taking home the top prize. However, fortune wasn't on their side this day.
Sturm came in seventh place with a cool €159,000, while Hissou trailed close behind in sixth, taking home €219,000. The dream of the first German title in this series vanished into thin air. In the end, Canadian Mike Watson emerged victorious. He bested Kiat Lee of Malaysia in the final skirmish and pocketed nearly €1 million.
The next opportunity for a triumph will be at the following event. Much like prior, the €40,000 bounty competition will be filled with numerous whispers of Germany's top poker players. Sturm, Ensan, and Ju have their sights set on the coveted gong. Will they have something to cheer about this time around?
