In Lower Saxony - A burning car ignites two adjacent dwellings.
Reports indicate that a car ignited under the connecting carports between two homes, possibly due to a technical malfunction. The fire then spread to the adjacent houses. A nurse returning home from Oldenburg Hospital alerted authorities.
The police confirmed that residents managed to evacuate both houses safely just moments before the fire engulfed them. Due to the dense smoke, officials advised residents to shut their doors and windows and turn off their air conditioning units.

Six firefighting units from Oldenburg's emergency services were dispatched to combat the blaze. A law enforcement representative shared that one of the four apartments appeared miraculously unscathed.
