Instead of simply announcing their happy news, Justin and Hailey chose to create an intimate video for the occasion. The video depicts a ceremony that seems like a wedding, or possibly a vow renewal, considering they've been married since 2018.
In the video, Justin appears in a casual outfit while Hailey is entirely covered in delicate white lace. A headscarf, falling over her shoulders like a veil, adds to her bridal-like appearance. The most noticeable part of the video, however, is Hailey's growing baby bump, which she fondles with affection.
Ever since 2021, it's been no secret that the couple wishes to start a family. In an interview that year, Hailey expressed her desire to have her own little family with Justin, stating: "We spoke about getting married young and becoming parents young and building a life together. Even before we knew we wanted to be together."
During an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020, Ellen directly asked Justin how many children he and Hailey want to have, and if they had any plans for their timeline. Justin responded: "I'll give Hailey as many children as she wishes to give birth to. I'm all for having a little tribe. But it's her body, she decides what she wants to do. I think she wants to have a few children."
What prevented the couple from starting their family earlier? Justin commented: "Hailey wants to achieve certain things as a woman. She's not ready yet, and that's okay."
