Road collisions - A 22-year-old person loses their life in an accident near Sieverstedt.
A 22-year-old woman lost her life in a collision in Sieverstedt, Schleswig-Flensburg district. On Friday, she was behind the wheel of her car and headed along the L317 road when a car suddenly drove out of a parking lot, failing to notice her approaching vehicle. The vehicles crashed into each other, causing the young woman's car to veer into oncoming traffic. There, her car struck another vehicle head-on. Tragically, the woman died on the spot. The driver of the other car sustained only mild injuries.
