Private Procedure Unrevealed - 18-year-old's brutal murder questionable: Trial out of public's reach.

Inside courtroom 10, two suspects are being brought in, each wearing shackles, as they gaze around the space. When prompted for their details on a Tuesday, the 20-year-old suspect struggles to be heard. The 19-year-old one has a tiny animal figurine beside her on the desk - seemingly as a charm. As claimed by the public prosecutor's office, both suspects allegedly committed a heinous and cunning act of murder on an 18-year-old girl they shared a living space with at a Pasewalk facility for the disabled. The account of their actions is shocking.

As per the indictment read aloud, both defendants had agreed on this barbarous act beforehand. After dinner on December 6, the three of them left the facility together - reportedly to go shopping, similar to their previous routine on Wednesdays. According to the prosecution, the two suspects had a knife measuring around 11-12 centimeters in length and a handball-sized rock with them. After guiding the victim to a garden area, the accused threw the rock at the unsuspecting woman's head from behind, as per the prosecution's account.

The 20-year-old defendant took the knife from the other and pierced the 18-year-old girl with it at least 70 times in her chest region. They claim that the accused also wounded the victim with the knife, including to her neck. When they noticed her gurgling breaths, they reportedly strangled the woman for several minutes using their hands and then a scarf. Unable to find her lifeless, they then inflicted burns on her. The prosecutor's account states that they took her clothes off to eliminate traces and left her lying in the snow. The murder weapons and clothing were discarded in garbage containers, as per the public prosecutor. The following day, the defendants allegedly revisited the body. The 18-year-old had gone missing since evening on December 6 and was found a day later.

No potential motive was specified. The accused is said to have been the mastermind behind this heinous plan, with the public prosecutor considering them fully liable. The 20-year-old suspect had supposedly acted due to a diminished capacity, unable to reject the older suspect's plan due to their diminished intellectual capacity.

Before the indictment was read, the judge announced that the public would be excluded from the subsequent proceedings, except for the sentencing. One of the reasons for this exclusion mentioned was the potential subject of a potential psychiatric hospital placement for one of the accused. This request came from the defense lawyer.

Upon the hearing's conclusion, a court representative shared that both defendants had made their appearance. They could not divulge details about whether they had confessed, but they did mention that witnesses had been heard, ensuring the trial would continue as planned. The schedule includes three further hearings. Hence, a judgement may be reached during mid-May.
